Noida: After a lull of about two months, home-buyers of several group housing projects have once again started lodging complaint with New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (Noida) against builders. They complained that the builders have refsued to comply with order given by the authority on the directions of chief minister Adityanath Yogi.
New Delhi: In the backdrop of back-to-back terror attacks in Manchester and London, millions of people will be casting their vote in the general elections in the United Kingdom on Thursday. Polls open at 07:00 local time at more than 40,000 polling stations across the country.
New Delhi: Gulf crisis may have deeped as at least 12 people were killed and 39 injured in a coordinated attack at Iranian Parliament and the mausoleum of Ayatollan Khomeini on Wednesday. Police said, all the attackers were killed some five hours after the attack started. The Iranian Intelligence Ministry said, security forces have arrested a terrorist team planning a third attack, without giving further details. Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
New Delhi: According to last reports,23 workers were charred to death and seven injured in a fire at a cracker factory in Kheri village in Balaghat district on Thurday.
Additional Director General of Police(Balaghat range) G Janardhan said that the blaze started around 3 pm in the factory located around 10 kms from the district headquarters in the Kotwali police station limits.
New Delhi: The Election Commission has set the ball rolling for the election of the successor of President Pranab Mukherjee. Presidential election will be held on July 17. Announcing the schedule, Chief Election Commissioner NasimZaidi said, nomination will begin from June 14 with 28th being the last date. Scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on 29th. Last date for withdrawal of candidature is the first of July. Counting will take place on 20th of July, if required.
