Rishab Shetty said that OTT platforms are not buying Kannada films. Kannada cinema is waiting for OTT platforms to open their doors for it, as stated by the Kannada actor-director. Rishab Shetty said that OTT platforms are not buying Kannada films.

Shetty, who spoke to reporters on the sidelines of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) on Tuesday, mentioned that Kannada movies used to generate revenue by taking part in initiatives such as the NFDC Film Bazaar.

According to Sacnilk.com, Tiger 3 earned ₹187.65 crore [Hindi: ₹183 crore; Telugu: ₹4.02 crore; Tamil: ₹63 lakh] in week one. The week two collection of the film is ₹67.22 crore [Hindi: ₹66 crore; Telugu: ₹75 lakh; Tamil: ₹47 lakh]. On day 13 the film minted ₹3.81 crore [Hindi: ₹3.75 crore; Telugu: ₹4 lakh; Tamil: ₹2 lakh] and on day 14 ₹5.77 crore [Hindi: ₹5.75 crore; Telugu: ₹1 lakh; Ta: ₹1 lakh].

ED summons actor Prakash Raj in Rs 100 crore ponzi-linked money laundering case

The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday summoned actor Prakash Raj for questioning in connection with a money laundering case, official sources said Thursday.

The case pertains to an alleged Rs 100 crore ponzi and fraud scheme by a Tiruchirapalli-based jewellery group.

According to a PTI report, ED conducted raids against Pranav Jewellers, a partnership firm based in Tiruchirapalli, and seized "unexplained" cash of Rs 23.70 lakh and some gold jewellery.
