New Delhi: After accusing Congress for being sole responsible for the mess in the Opposition camp, Bihar Chief Minister and JD (U) president Nitish Kumar has sought to broker peace between two constituents of grand alliance by ruling out himself as Opposition`s PM face in the 2019 LokSabha election.

New Delhi: India has slipped to 88th place in terms of money parked by its citizens with Swiss banks, while the UK remains on the top. 

Also, the money officially held by Indians with banks in Switzerland now accounts for a meagre 0.04 per cent of the total funds kept by all foreign clients in the Swiss banking system, as per an analysis of the latest figures compiled by the SNB (Swiss National Bank) as on 2016-end. 

New Delhi: China's official news agency has sent out signals that the ongoing border stand-off was caused, at least partially, by Beijing's desperate need to force an unwilling India to accept its Belt and Road programme. 

The border controversy was triggered after Chinese troops began constructing a road in Doklam area of Bhutan, which falls in the Sikkim-Tibet-Bhutan tri-junction. 

New Delhi: Prime Minister NarendraModi became emotional while talking about President Pranab Mukherjee at RashtrapatiBhawan during the launch of his book “President Pranab Mukherjee – A statesman”.

The prime minister appreciated his time spent working with the President and lauded his mentorship. “Like a father figure, Pranab Da has guided me. He would tell me, Modiji please take adequate rest, take care of your health,” the PM said.
