Eminent citizens meet Rajnath, demand end to ‘targeting of Hindus’ in Bengal

New Delhi: A number of people, including retired Army generals, ambassadors and judges, have called on Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and sought his intervention to bring back normalcy in riot-affected areas in West Bengal.

ChanderWadhwa, a council member of the Institute of the Chartered Accountants of India was among those who met Singh, said the violence in the state targeted Hindus.

India features poorly on Cyber Security Index, ranked 25th

New Delhi: UN telecommunications agency International Telecommunication Union (ITU), released its second Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI).
 
As per ITU’s Global Cyber-Security Index, India ranks 25th out of the 193 countries when it comes to cybersecurity. Singapore tops the charts with the highest level of cyber security commitment in the world.

Government To Traders:Print Post-GST Rates Or Be Ready For Jail

New Delhi:The Consumer Affairs Ministry has come out with the new norm for affixing the revised maximum retail price (MRP) on the old stocks, which were manufactured and packed before July 1.

As per the Legal Metrology Act, the first such offence may attract fine up to Rs 25,000 and for second offence the fine may be up to Rs 50,000.
