MS Dhoni then came in and threatened to smash the required 27 runs off the last over but Rishi Dhawan did well to keep his nerve as PBKS restricted CSK to 176/6. Earlier, Shikhar Dhawan scored an unbeaten 88 off 59 balls and led Punjab Kings to a score of  187/4 in their 20 overs. Journalist and historian Boria Majumdar is likely to be banned by BCCI for two years wherein he will not be allowed inside any stadium in the country.

The Indian board will also be writing to ICC so that the world body blacklist Majumdar, according to a report in the Indian Express.

The news comes after a three-member panel set up by BCCI found Majumdar guilty of intimidating India wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha.

It was on February 19 that the incident came to light with Saha tweeting the screenshot of his conversation with the journalist which showed how Majumdar threatened the cricketer to appear in an interview.

He then removed Dewald Brevis for seven, reducing Mumbai to 23/3 in the first three overs at the DY Patil Stadium. Mitchell Santner affected further damage by taking the prized wicket of Suryakumar Yadav (32). Kieron Pollard also perished cheaply but youngster Tilak Varma notched up a brilliant half-century to bail Mumbai out of a precarious position.

IPL 2022, DC vs PBKS Highlights: Delhi Capitals are edging closer to a convincing win over Punjab Kings in Match 32 of IPL 2022 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. 

David Warner hit an unbeaten century as DC cruise in their chase of 116. Earlier, PBKS suffered a top-order collapse and were eventually bowled out for 115. For PBKS, Jitesh Sharma top-scored with a knock of 32 while Mayank Agarwal also scored 24 at the top of the order. For DC, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Lalit Yadav and Khaleel Ahmed took two wickets each. Earlier, DC won the toss and elected to bowl.
