The Indian athletics contingent will begin their campaign from Friday, the 6th day of the Asian Games with the race walkers, hammer throwers and shot putters in action first. Plus, Ramkumar Ramanathan and Saketh Myneni will play the final in men’s doubles while Nikhat Zareen will look to extend her winning run.

In other sports, Saurav Ghosal and Co will be both be in semifinals action on Friday, already assured medals in squash by having reached this far. Meanwhile, Esha Singh will be back in action again after her silver in the 25m event, now taking part in the 10m air pistol event.
