Travis Head along with Steve Smith drove Australia to 170/3 at Tea on Day 1 of the World Test Championship (WTC) final against India at The Oval. The pair have added over 90 runs for the fourth wicket, with Travis Head also slamming a 60-ball half-century. Earlier, Mohammed Shami gave India a perfect start in the second session, getting rid of Marnus Labuschagne (26) in his first ball. Australia had resumed the session from 73/2. Meanwhile, India had started the day on a strong note as Mohammed Siraj packed Usman Khawaja for 0. David Warner and Labuschagne then held fort and added 69 runs for the second wicket, before Warner fell for 43(60).
