Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the most successful directors in the South, and he is popular for delivering action dramas. A case has now been filed against Lokesh Kanagaraj at the Madras High Court Madurai branch.

Lokesh Kanagaraj last delivered the blockbuster action drama 'Leo' featuring Vijay in the lead role, and the film was packed with bloodied action sequences. Unfortunately, it has now turned out to be a problem for Lokesh Kanagaraj since Raja Murugan from Madurai has filed a petition in the Madurai High Court to take action against the director. According to a report from Indiaglitz Tamil, in that petition, it has been reportedly mentioned that the movie 'Leo' contains scenes of riots, illegal activities, driving cars and two-wheelers at high speed, and crimes that can be committed with the help of the police, and those scenes are claimed to be driving society in the wrong direction.

Raja Murugan also demanded that the censorship authorities properly censor such films and asked the court to psychologically examine director Lokesh Kanagaraj. He is also intimidated enough to take further steps if the director continues to shoot violent scenes in his films.

On the work front, Lokesh Kanagaraj is next teamed up with Rajinikanth, and the film has been tentatively titled 'Thalaivar 171'. It is worth mentioning that the next film by the director will also be an action drama, and he recently began the script work for the film. But Lokesh Kanagaraj has assured that his film with Rajinikanth will not deal with drugs, and it will not also be part of the director's cinematic universe.
