New Delhi: The AamAadmi Party is likely to support Congress-led Opposition presidential candidate Meira Kumar.Ruling out support to NDA's pick Ram NathKovind, party sources said the AAP has been holding parleys with the Left parties, and Trinamool Congress to arrive at a decision.
"There is no question of supporting (Narendra) Modi's candidate. We may support Meira Kumar but we are yet to take a decision," said an AAP leader, on condition of anonymity.
New Delhi: A Delhi court has granted three weeks' time to Congress president Sonia Gandhi, its vice president Rahul Gandhi and four others to respond on a plea of BJP leader Subramanian Swamy seeking certain documents from the party in the National Herald case.
Metropolitan Magistrate Lovleen gave time till July 22 to them after their counsel submitted that they have not received a copy of the application of Swamy, who has filed a private criminal complaint.
New Delhi:BJP chief Amit Shah has said that the GST will accelerate the country's economic growth and bring an end to the inspector raj. New Delhi: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has attacked the Centre saying the Good and Services Tax (GST) "is being executed by an incompetent and insensitive government".
Unlike demonetisation, Rahul said, GST is a reform that the Congress has championed and backed from the beginning. However, "like demonetisation", the GST rollout is being done "without foresight", he said.
