Singh is expected to visit at least three border out posts (BoPs) at India-China border including Rimkhim BoP, which is close to Barahoti, where Chinese troops had transgressed on July 25 this year.

Apart from Barahoti, Rajnath Singh will also visit Lapthal and Mana BoPs of ITBP, which guards the India-China border at the altitude of 14,311 feet.

This is the first high profile visit, that too of union home minister on India-China border after the resolution of Doklam standoff between the two emerging superpowers, which went on for almost two months.

Rajnath Singh will be briefed about the strategic installations, assets, and line of perception other than problems faced by jawans in sub-zero temperature conditions by the senior ITBP officials.
