New Delhi: BJP today said it has taken seriously the absence of party MPs during the voting on the 123rd Constitutional Amendment Bill on National Commission for Backward Castes (NCBC) in Rajya Sabha despite whip.

Briefing media after Party’s Parliamentary party meeting in New Delhi on tuesday, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anant Kumar said all members of the party should be present in the House from 11 AM till end of the day.

He said, Party President Amit Shah will talk to those MPs who were absent during the voting in the House. The minister also alleged that NCBC could not be passed in the Rajya Sabha due to conspiracy of Congress .
