New Delhi: Prime Minister NarendraModimade an aerial survey of flood-hit Banaskantha district in North Gujarat. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani also joined Prime Minister in aerial survey. 

Earlier, after reaching Ahmedabad airport, Prime Minister Modiheld a review meeting with Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel. Revenue Minister BhupendrasinhChudasama and other senior officials also participated in the meeting."I have taken stock of the situation due to floods. Officers from the government of India will assist in short term and long term measures... While reviewing the situation, I could see the government of Gujarat responded to the flood situation quite swiftly," PM Modi said at a press briefing.
