New Delhi: A joint team of Army and Police gunned down three terrorists in Pulwama district late on Wednesday night. On Tuesday, two terrorists were killed in an encounter in Sopore township of Baramulla district in north Kashmir.

Police said, the encounter took place in Kakapora area on Wednesday evening following intelligence input that three terrorists were holed up in a house located in a densely populated locality. Authorities have suspended internet services in Pulwama following the incident. 

An Army Officer sustained a minor injury in the gun battle.According to media reports, Director General of Police Dr SP Vaid the identity and affiliation of the killed terrorists was being ascertained.
