New Delhi: A delegation of the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha submitted a memorandum to Union Minister of State for Home Affairs KirenRijiju in Gangtok demanding a separate state of Gorkhaland. 

A member of the delegation, RB Bhujel, told mediapersons that they met Rijiju on Tuesday. 

He said, the delegation put the aspirations of the people of Darjeeling before the minister and demanded Centre to urgently start the process of granting a separate state status to Gorkhaland.
