Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) supremo Altaf Hussain has said that Pakistan is a country of 230 million slaves. The so-called democrats and politicians are time-servants and are the facilitators to their masters in the establishment which consists of corrupt brasses in the military, top bureaucrats, top slots in higher and apex judiciary, feudal lords and real estate tycoons.

In his recent tweet, Altaf Hussain said that "Pakistan has been made a joke. Military brasses are solely responsible for Pakistan`s bankruptcy, enslaved judiciary, ruined economy and terrorism."He said that he has been struggling for the reversal of slavery and true freedom of the enslaved 230 million people and hence he is facing the wrath of the ghoulish military top brasses. "In addition, the military in alliance with its puppet governments carried genocide of Mohajirs which resulted in above 30,000 deaths," he said.

In the run-up to the Ukraine war, the US took an unusual decision to declassify parts of intelligence and disclose to the world that Russia was preparing to mount a military offensive. Some countries believed it; others were sceptical. But the decision to go public both proved to be accurate and smart. Accurate, for Russian President Vladimir Putin did exactly that on February 24, and smart, for it enabled the US to begin mustering up international support and preparing public opinion.

But one country befuddled the US.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a state-organised concert on Wednesday, hailed the country's ongoing war effort in Ukraine by referring to the historical territorial alignments of Kyiv. Putin was addressing a crowd of tens of thousands at a Moscow stadium as the country marked the Defender of the Fatherland Day holiday.

Putin has repeatedly invoked Ukraine's past territorial alignments under the Russian Empire as well as the Soviet Union, in what many interpreted as the Russian leader's justification to invade Ukraine. 

President Joe Biden did little to tip his hand about his unannounced visit to Kyiv, heading to church on Saturday afternoon and then taking his wife out to dinner at a cozy Washington restaurant.

But by the pre-dawn hours Sunday, he was already aboard a US military plane crossing the Atlantic, the first leg of an itinerary to the Ukrainian capital carried out under cloak-and-dagger secrecy after months of meticulous planning by a close circle of advisers.

US President Joe Biden left a handwritten message for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky when he visited the Ukraine Royal Palace during a visit to the war-torn country. Joe Biden left the note in the palace guestbook in which he wrote that the city has "captured a part of my heart."

"I am honored to be welcomed again in Kyiv. I stand in solidarity and friendship with the freedom loving people of Ukraine," Joe Biden wrote.

“Mr President, please accept my deepest respect for your courage and leadership. Slava Ukraini!," he added. Joe Biden used the visit to reaffirm his US' commitment to supporting Ukraine amid Russian invasion for "as long as it takes."
