Even now, Dravid's shy and quiet personality appeals to millions of women and one of them is actress Richa Chadha.

According to a report by to an English daily , Chadha revealed that Rahul Dravid was her first love. The actress made this confession while she was promoting her upcoming cricket-themed show Inside Edge. During the conversation, she revealed that she has never been a big fan of cricket, however Rahul Dravid was the reason why she would remain glued to the television set whenever a cricket match was broadcast on television.

Former India cricketer Ajay Jadeja has spoken in stern criticism of the Indian team selectors following their decision to drop Hanuma Vihari for the New Zealand Test series.

During a discussion on Cricbuzz, Jadeja lashed out at the decision-makers for overlooking Vihari despite impressive performances.

“Vihari, poor guy. He did well. He has been with Indian cricket for a while, done well. What has he done wrong? Why should he go to India A tour, why can't he play a Test match at home? Or don't send him on A tour also. Somebody who has been with the team, now goes to India A tour and a new guy comes in. That's messing with people's minds,” explained Jadeja.

Leading by example, India’s new T20I skipper Rohit Sharma scored yet another half-century as the Men In Blue outclassed New Zealand in the third and the final T20I to complete a series whitewash in Kolkata.

It was Rohit’s second fifty of the series which took his career tally to 26. Only Virat Kohli (29) has scored more fifties in T20 Internationals than the ‘Hitman’.

While Rohit still needs a few knocks to get past him in this regard, he did manage to break a huge world record that previously belonged to his predecessor in the shortest format of the game.

India completed a clinical win over New Zealand by 7 wickets in the second T20 international on Friday to take an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series after outstanding performances from KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and Harshal Patel in Ranchi.

Chasing 154 for victory, the Men in Blue reached the target in 17.2 overs to register their second successive T20I series win over the Blackcaps. The duo added 117 for the opening wicket to lay a solid foundation for the run chase.

KL Rahul brought up his 16th T20I fifty off 40 balls before getting out for 65 off 49 balls in the 14th over to Tim Southee. But Rahul and debutant Venkatesh Iyer didn't give any more opportunities to the Blackcaps and took the team home with 16 balls to spare.
