India vs West Indies Live Score, 1st ODI: Ishan Kishan removed after scoring fifty, IND four down chasing 115

in SPORTS

The spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav (4/6) and Ravindra Jadeja (3/37) shared seven wickets between them as India bundled West Indies out for 114 in the first ODI at Barbados. Debutant Mukesh Kumar, Hardik Pandya and Shardul Thakur would also nab a wicket each.

Earlier, India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to field first as India began the white-ball leg of their tour of the West Indies.

On the other hand, hosts West Indies who failed to qualify for the World Cup will be looking to give opportunities to a few youngsters to rebuild for the next cycle. Without experienced campaigners like Jason Holder and Nicholas Pooran, it would be an ideal opportunity for a few youngsters to make the most of their chances and prove themselves.
