'Sanjay Raut behind Uddhav Thackeray's ouster as Chief Minister', alleges Ex-CM Narayan Rane

Union Minister Narayan Rane has made a serious allegation that Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut conspired with NCP chief Sharad Pawar to remove Uddhav Thackeray from the post of Chief Minister. Rane strongly criticized Sanjay Raut in a press conference today. "Sanjay Raut is happy. Because Raut completed the work given by his mentor Sharad Pawar. Sanjay Raut is a clown. I don't consider him a journalist. This clown is making Uddhav Thackeray dance. Sanjay, how much you exposed Uddhav Thackeray? Sanjay, stay happy at home," said Rane.

Home ministry gives security clearance to Air India CEO-designate Campbell Wilson

The home ministry has given security clearance to Air India CEO-designate Campbell Wilson, paving the way for him to take charge of the airline, according to a senior official.

The appointment of Wilson as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Air India was announced by Tata Sons on May 12.

Tata Sons took over the loss-making carrier on January 27.

The senior official on Tuesday told PTI that the home ministry has given the security clearance to Wilson.

ED makes claim against Partha Chatterjee, says 'there is corruption of total Rs 120 Crore,

A total of 120 crore rupees corruption in school recruitment. Another 100 crores have to be recovered. ED's lawyer made a sensational claim in the court. He also claimed that Partha Chatterjee was actively involved in recruitment corruption from Primary to SSC. ED claims that the minister and Arpita Mukherjee bought a land together. ED has already recovered Rs 21.90 crore from the flat of Arpita Mukherjee, a close associate of Partha Chatterjee. But is this the tip of the iceberg?

Supreme Court refuses to entertain Randeep Surjewala's plea against linking of electoral roll data with Aadhaar

The Supreme Court on Monday refused to entertain a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala challenging the Election Law Amendment Act which enables linking of electoral roll data with the Aadhaar ecosystem.

A bench of Justices DY Chandrachud granted liberty to Randeep Singh Surjewala to move to the High Court.

Randeep Singh Surjewala, through his PIL, challenged the constitutional validity of Section 4 and 5 of the Election Law (Amendment) Act, 2021 which amends Section 23 and 28 of the Representation of People Act, 1950 and enables the linking of electoral roll data with the Aadhaar ecosystem.
