Prime Minister Narendra Modi's YouTube channel achieved a significant milestone on Tuesday by surpassing 20 million subscriptions, making it the most subscribed channel among top global leaders. Modi is significantly outpacing his global and Indian counterparts.

The second-ranking leader is former Brazilian President Jair Bolsanora, whose subscriber count stands at a modest 6.4 million, merely a fraction of Modi's.

The third most-subscribed channel among world leaders is the Ukraine President is far behind at 1.1 million. Whereas fourth on the list, United States President Joe Biden has a subscriber count of only 794,000 on his YouTube channel.

Udhayanidhi Stalin urges Centre to release 'necessary' funds for flood relief in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu minister Udhayanidhi Stalin expressed hope on Monday that after the inspection of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the flood-affected areas of the state, the Centre will allocate the required funds to the state.

"We are hopeful that after the inspection, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will allocate the required funds to the state," Udhayanidhi Stalin said here after reviewing the post-flood reconstruction and rehabilitation activities in the district.

Plane held in France over 'human trafficking' concerns lands in Mumbai

Plane with 303 Indians onboard held in France over trafficking concerns landed in Mumbai early morning on Tuesday, reported news agency PTI, quoting an official.

The charter plane for Nicaragua, was grounded in France's Vatry for an investigation into human trafficking. The flight took off for Mumbai on Monday after the French authorities permitted the aircraft to leave France. Of the original 303 people on the passenger list, 276 were on the plane.

Airbus A340 flight, operated by Romanian charter company Legend Airlines, from UAE to Nicaragua, in central America, was grounded at Vatry airport last Thursday.

Amid toilet remark row, DMK posts old clip of BJP leader calling South Indians 'black'

After DMK MP Dayanidhi Maran's old clip of his 'Hindi speakers toilet remark' went viral on social media, the party has now shared a video of BJP leader Tarun Vijay who is heard calling the South Indians "black people".

"If we were racist, why would we have the entire South? Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra... Why do we live with them? We have black people around us," Vijay, a former Rajya Sabha MP, was heard saying in the video shared by DMK's IT wing.
