Throwing a challenge to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said that if the situation is so good in J&K, then he should walk to Srinagar`s Lal Chowk from Jammu. Responding to questions on the BJP's claims that there is peace in J&K, he said: "There are targeted killings in the state, bomb blasts happening, what security personnel are talking indicates that the situation is not good... if the BJP thinks so, why doesn`t Amit Shah walk to Lal Chowk from Jammu."

#Israel Shooting: 5 Killed in Attack Near Jerusalem Synagogue

At least five people were killed and as many sustained injuries in a shooting at a synagogue in Jerusalem's Neve Yaakov, police and rescue services have said. The shooting took place on Friday evening in the northern part of East Jerusalem, they said.

"The terrorist arrived by car at a building used as a synagogue in the neighbourhood in the northern part of East Jerusalem and opened fire," police said.

Police located and shot the gunman. A handgun apparently used in the attack was seized, they said. The Magen David Adom (MDA) rescue services said its medics declared five victims dead at the scene.

Poll strategist Prashant Kishor has once again commented on Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's political decision. Kishor on Friday said that the Bihar CM chose Tejashwi Yadav as the Deputy CM because he knows that after 2025 he won’t be the CM and Bihar will suffer under Yadav which will result in people again coming back and choosing Nitish Kumar as the state CM.

"He (Nitish Kumar) wants to continue his legacy so he doesn’t want someone better than him to come to power," Prashant Kishor said.

#DocumentaryControversy: Amid Row, Congress Screens BBC Documentary On PM Modi In Kerala

The Congress unit in Kerala on Thursday screened the controversial BBC documentary on PM Narendra Modi in Thiruvananthapuram even though the central government has banned it in India saying it's false and motivated "propaganda". The public showing of the series — the two-part documentary speaks about the 2002 Gujarat riots and PM Modi's politics — was one of many such events organised by several Opposition parties and free-speech activists across the country. The Congress is in the opposition in Kerala, too, but the ruling CPM has also taken a stand against banning the documentary.
