Almost all of BJP leaders are out in field building on the narrative that they believe is already amid people which is corruption ridden governance during Gehlot regime. This is something that even Congress MP Sachin Pilot too had raked up and in fact took out yatra taking on his own CM on issue of corruption.

#Bengal governor returns SEC's joining report to state govt ahead of panchayat polls

West Bengal Governor Dr CV Ananda Bose on Wednesday night refused to accept the joining report of State Election Commissioner (SEC) Rajiva Sinha, ahead of the July 8 panchayat polls, a well-placed source at the Raj Bhavan said.

The step came hours after Sinha failed to appear before Bose after he was summoned for an explanation of the incidents of murders, violence and clashes during the nomination filing for the panchayat poll earlier this month, the source said.

Prime Minister Narenra Modi on Wednesday took part in the International Day of Yoga programme in the lawns of the United Nations headquarters where he performed a number of yoga poses. The lawn was full of yoga enthusiasts and dignitaries invited by the United Nations as part of the International Yoga Day celebrations. Before performing yoga poses, PM Modi also addressed the gathering and thanked people for coming here from far away to attend the celebration. He was wearing an especially customised white yoga t-shirt and trousers.

#TCS Rule: Credit Card Holders May Have To File Declaration With Banks

credit card holders may need to file a declaration with the issuer bank within a stipulated time, highlighting the nature of expenses incurred in foreign currency.

The tax department is considering this move for the purpose of levying Tax Collection at Source (TCS), reported news agency PTI quoting sources familiar with the development.

The Income Tax department is also in talks with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and other stakeholders to come up with a mechanism for distinguishing whether the expense is towards medical/education, which attracts a five per cent TCS or for other purposes on which a 20 per cent TCS would be levied, the sources added.
