#Nuh Violence: 3 UP Districts On Alert, Mobile Internet Ban Extended In Haryana Districts Till August 5

To maintain peace and public order, mobile internet services have been suspended in certain areas of Haryana until August 5. According to a fresh advisory, mobile internet services in the jurisdictions of Nuh, Faridabad, and Palwal districts, as well as in the territorial areas of Sohna, Pataudi, and Manesar sub-divisions of Gurugram district in Haryana, will remain suspended until August 5.

Official sources revealed that the Haryana government has finally sanctioned about 50 acres of land in Indri village of Nuh to the Rapid Action Force (RAF). This move comes at a crucial time when the district has experienced communal tensions. The land allocation was previously earmarked, but the final declaration on its use by the force had been pending for over a year. The procedure to hand over the land will happen soon, followed by a foundation stone-laying ceremony conducted by a dignitary.

The mosque attack happened even as security forces deployed in large numbers in neighbouring Nuh and the Gurgaon police and administration brass focused on Sohna, where mobs had earlier in the day gone on a rampage, attacking shops and houses.

#Parliament Session: 6 Bills listed in Rajya Sabha; 2 For Introduction, 4 For Consideration And Passage

The Rajya Sabha on Tuesday listed six Bills in its legislative business. Two of them will be introduced and four will be moved by ministers for their consideration and passage.

The Bills listed for introduction are the Advocates (Amendment) Bill, 2023; and the Press and Registration of Periodicals Bill, 2023. The Bills listed for their consideration and passage are the Mediation Bill, 2021; the Multi-State Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Bill, 2023; the Biological Divers

A few of these six Bills are repeated in the revised list of Legislative Business on Tuesday as they could not be moved to the Upper House due to a ruckus created by the Opposition MPs seeking detailed discussion under Rule 267 over ethnic violence in Manipur as well as Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement over the matter.
