#Telangana CM KCR urges PM Modi to pass Women's Reservation Bill in special Parliament session

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday demanding that the Government of India should provide 33 percent reservation to women in the Parliament. He urged PM Modi to pass the women's reservation bill in the special session of Parliament beginning September 18.

Chief Minister KCR also informed that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi Parliamentary Party in its meeting today had passed a resolution demanding to provide 33 per cent reservation for women in Parliament and State Legislatures. He requested that the Government of India should take action in this regard in the upcoming special session of Parliament.

All these procurements will be made from Indian vendors under the Buy (Indian-Indigenously Designed Developed and Manufactured (IDMM)/Buy (Indian) category which will give a substantial boost to the Indian defence Industry towards achieving the goal of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’," the defence ministry said in a statement.

The Prime Minister, while addressing a public rally in Chhattisgarh's Raigarh, said that the opposition wants to push the country back into slavery. The PM, however, assured that "The BJP government of Delhi is leaving no stone unturned for the development of Chhattisgarh. But the Congress government here is not engaged in development work but only in empty talk and claims."

#8 Injured After Private Aircraft Skids Off Mumbai Airport Runway, Crashes While Landing

Eight people including pilot and co-pilot were injured after a private aircraft veered off the runway at the Mumbai airport on Thursday.

The eight passengers are admitted to the Criticare Asia Hospital in Mumbai's Andheri East.

“VSR Ventures Learjet 45 aircraft VT-DBL operating flight from Vizag to Mumbai was involved in runway excursion (veer off) while landing on runway 27 at Mumbai airport. There were 06 passengers and 02 crew member on board.Visibility was 700 metres with heavy rain”, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation said in a statement.

#Pakistan Shifts All Its Camps Near LoC to Increase Terror Activities in J&K: Sources

In an exclusive information accessed by a news channel, Pakistan has shifted all its terror camps and launch pads near LoC to increase infiltration in the area.

These terror camps have recruits from Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Hizbul Mujahideen, sources told News18.

The route maps, accessed by News18, show infiltrators using multiple entry routes to avoid any incident of firing by the Indian security forces.
