The Indian Air Force (IAF) has deployed its Rafale fighter aircrafts in search of unidentified flying objects sighted near the Imphal airport. A UFO was seen  The sighting of the UFO over the Imphal airport around 2:30 pm on Sunday after which a few commercial flights were affected.

“Soon after information about the UFO near the Imphal airport was received, a Rafale fighter aircraft from a nearby airbase was scrambled to go and search for it,” defence sources told news agency ANI.

Halal Trust CEO Niyaz Ahmed said the body has decided to move court against Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government’s decision to ban production, storage, distribution and sale of food products with Halal certification.

The Uttar Pradesh government last week banned production, storage, distribution and sale of food products with halal certification with immediate effect while exempting products manufactured for export.

#Tamil Nadu Assembly Readopts 10 Bills Returned By Governor Amid Oppn Walkout

The Tamil Nadu assembly on Saturday readopted the 10 bills returned by governor RN Ravi earlier this week, amid a walkout by Opposition MLAs.

The move came days after the Supreme Court raised serious concerns and sought a response from the Union government on a petition filed by the Tamil Nadu government against the governor’s delay in processing the 12 bills passed by the state legislature, besides withholding several other files relating to sanction and remission.

According to Article 200 of the Constitution, if a bill is passed again by the House, with or without any amendment, then the “governor shall not withhold assent therefrom”.

#Israel Claims Houthis Seize Ship In Red Sea, 'Iranian Act Of Terrorism'

Israel on Sunday alleged Yemen's Houthi militia group had seized a British-owned and Japanese-operated cargo ship in the southern Red Sea. Tel Aviv called it an "Iranian act of terrorism" and "a very grave incident on a global level".

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that an international ship was seized by the Houthis, allies of Tehran. Officials stated that there were no Israelis on the ship.
