BJP MLA and cricketer Ravindra Jadeja's wife Rivaba Jadeja has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi after he visited the dressing room of Team India to console and lift the morale of the players following their heartbreaking defeat to Australia in the World Cup final in Ahmedabad.

In a tweet, Rivaba Jadeja, who represents Jamnagar North assembly constituency in Gujarat, said the Prime Minister's presence in the dressing room reflected his compassionate statesmanship. She attached a video of PM Modi greeting and consoling the players in the dressing room.

Prime Minister Modi on Wednesday emphasized the importance of making artificial intelligence accessible to all while ensuring its safety for society.

While addressing G20 virtual summit, PM Modi spoke about the deepfake issue and noted that there are growing concerns across the world about the negative use of artificial intelligence.

"The world is worried about the negative effects of AI. India thinks that we have to work together on the global regulations for AI. Understanding how dangerous deepfakes are for society and individuals, we need to work forward. We want that AI should reach the people but it must be safe for society," PM Modi said.

The vertical drilling machine has reached the Silkyara tunnel, where work of laying the pipeline inside the tunnel has already begun. In a major breakthrough on Monday in the ongoing rescue operation, officials managed to insert a 57-metre long, 6-inch wide pipe to send larger quantities of solid food and water to the trapped workers. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also spoke with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday to take stock of the rescue efforts. 

In a significant development, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken action in the Nation Herald case by attaching assets totaling a staggering Rs 751.9 crore. Under the purview of the Money Laundering Act, this action marks a crucial step in the ongoing investigation. The move is part of the agency's efforts to address financial irregularities associated with the case, signaling a significant stride forward in the legal proceedings.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday registered a case against Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, the founder of pro-Khalistan group Sikhs For Justice, over his video threatening passengers flying by Air India on November 19.

According to a statement released by the agency, Pannun has been booked under sections 120B, 153A & 506 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 10, 13, 16, 17, 18, 18B & 20 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
