#BharatJodoYatra: Bengaluru Court Has Ordered Twitter To Block Congress, BJY Handles

A Bengaluru court has ordered Twitter to temporarily block the handles of the Congress party and its Bharat Jodo Yatra campaign, in a copyright infringement suite.

The commercial court held that if the Congress and its leaders are not restrained from the unauthorised use of songs from KGF-2, it would cause “irreparable injury” to the plaintiff and also “encourage piracy”.

The Congress, in response, said it was "pursuing all the legal remedies at our disposal".

"We have read on social media about an adverse order from a Bengaluru court against INC & BJY SM handles. We were neither made aware of nor present at court proceedings. No copy of the order has been received. We are pursuing all the legal remedies at our disposal," the Congress's official handle tweeted.

#GujaratPolls: 'If People Are Happy With BJP, Let Them Choose It, But...', Says Congress' Kanhaiya Kumar Ahead of Assembly Elections

Ahead of the Gujarat Assembly elections, Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar has claimed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are the same team with one following the other. In an interview with PTI, Kumar also said the BJP is an ideological and cadre-based party and the Congress is its only natural opponent which can provide an alternate ideology in the country. The Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP has been trying to project itself as the BJP's main contender in the Gujarat Assembly elections. The state polls will be held in two phases on December 1 and 5 and the counting of votes will be taken up on December 8.

Kumar said the perception in the country is "what Gujarat thinks today, India thinks tomorrow."

"Many new things start from here (Gujarat). We hope there will be political messaging from here. If people are happy with the BJP, let them choose it, but if people want a change then they will give a chance to the Congress, I hope so," the former JNU student leader said.

#UP-ChiefMinister: Yogi Adityanath Fiercely Attacks Rahul & Priyanka, 'Both Brother-Sister Run Away...'

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Congress had imposed Article 370 in the country to create the root of terrorism. Deliberately imposed 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, the country suffered the brunt of terrorism. Both terrorism and terrorists were at their peak during Congress' rule. Addressing an election rally in Himachal Pradesh's Una on Monday, UP CM Yogi said, "PM Narendra Modi removed Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir as soon as he got the opportunity. Now Jammu and Kashmir is also like other states of the country. Now people of Himachal Pradesh and other states can go to Jammu and Kashmir and buy land and build their own house."

Yogi further added, "Congress did not remove Article 370 because of its selfishness, and only does vote bank politics. Congress can neither ensure the internal security of the country, nor can it start welfare schemes for the countrymen." Addressing the people, Yogi asked, "whether Congress could have removed Article 370?"

#Telangana: Election Result Is A Watershed Moment For Congress

Although the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) scooped a win in the Munugode by-election after a fierce neck-and-neck battle with the BJP, the real story from the bypoll was that of the Congress.

In a state that was once a major source of its electoral strength, powering its two consecutive terms at the centre in 2004 and 2009, the outcome of the elections showcase the party's downward spiral.

Despite former Congress chief Sonia Gandhi often being credited with the formation of Telangana - even by TRS leader and Chief Minister KCR - the Congress was unable to score political gains out of it in 2014, after Telangana was carved out of Andhra Pradesh.
