Shark Tank India Season 2 is streaming on SonyLiv streaming platform. In the latest episode of Shark Tank India a Delhi-based startup founded by IITians got offers from all Sharks but the firm decided to take up Rs 75 lakh investment from Peeyush Bansal and Aman Gupta for 3 per cent equity. The startup Primebook received individual offers from Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal and Anupam Mittal, along with a combined offer from all five sharks.

As the name suggests, Primebook is a made-in-India Android laptop brand that during the Shark Tank India episode revealed their first-of-its-kind laptop for students called Primebook 4G. Commenting on getting an offer, Primebook Co-Founders, Chitranshu Mahant and Aman Verma said, "we couldn't have asked for a better combo of sharks. We feel extremely lucky to get a chance to work with both." Bansal while handing over the cheque said that Gupta can help the team improve their hardware while he can aid in upgradation of the software.

In the past couple of months, news of layoffs across the world has painted a scary picture of the job market in today's times. Stories of people being fired from their jobs are surfacing on LinkedIn and Twitter. While some have been lucky enough to find a new job, others are still waiting for their chance. An IIT graduate named Shubham Sahu is also among the people who have been affected by mass layoffs happening across the country.

Sahu was working as a Software Engineer with Goldman Sachs. After barely 6 months of his employment, he was fired from his role.

Facebook parent Meta and Microsoft are separately vacating office buildings in Seattle and Bellevue in Washington -in the latest sign of change in the tech sector and softness in the office market here - according to the Seattle Times.

Facebook confirmed on Friday plans to sublease its offices at the six-story Arbor Block 333 in downtown Seattle, and in the 11-story Block 6 of the Spring District in Bellevue, the Seattle Times reported.

Permanent remote working ends for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) employees as the IT giants ask everyone to return to office desks. TCS employees who were enjoying a 100 per cent work-from-home will have to  come back to the office according to the need of their role. 

Last year in an official mail to employees, TCS informed its employees to come back to offices three days a week or according to the roster set by their team supervisor. "Senior leaders of TCS have been working from TCS offices for a while now and our customers are also visiting TCS offices Your respective managers will now roster you to work from the TCS office for at least 3 days in a week," reads the official mail.

Soon, travellers would be able to reach Visakhapatnam from Secunderabad in just about 8 to 9 hours as South India gears up for its 2nd Vande Bharat Express Train. A week from now on January 19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off India’s 8th and South India’s second Vande Bharat Express train.

The semi-high-speed train can hit a speed of 160km/hour in less than 140 seconds and cover around 700 km in 8 to 9 hours. The Vande Bharat Express train will finally run between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad via Vijayawada after officially being launched by PM Narendra Modi at the Secunderabad Railway Station on Thursday.
