NIA chargesheet in Antilia case: Param Bir Singh got cyber expert to change report, paid Rs 5 lakh

In a chargesheet filed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), a cyber expert, who had worked with the Mumbai Police on the Antilia bomb scare case, claimed that ex-Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh had asked him to modify his report on the matter to add 'Jaish Ul Hind' poster. He also claimed that Param Bir Singh ensured a payment of Rs 5 lakh to him for the work.

The NIA chargesheet in the cases of Antilia Bomb scare and Manshukh Hiren death has a statement of a cyber expert who submitted a report to Mumbai police when the latter were investigating the incident on February 25 this year.

After the gelatin sticks were found in the Scorpio car outside businessman Mukesh Ambani's residence in Mumbai. An outfit identifying itself as Jaish Ul Hind claimed responsibility for the bomb threat on a Telegram channel.

PM Modi to lay foundation of university in Aligarh named after Jat king

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University in Aligarh district on September 14, almost two years after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced its formation.

The university will be built on 92.27 acres of land in the village of Lodha in the district’s Kol tehsil. District officials told The Indian Express that the land was in their possession.

In the first phase, the project is expected to cost Rs 101 crore, of which Rs 10 crore was released in March. An administrative block, a library, common facilities, and hostel and residential areas would be constructed in this phase. The government plans to complete it by January 2023.
