DU’s First Cut-Off List For Admission To Graduate Programmes On June 23

New Delhi:Delhi University’s first cut-off list will be announced on June 23 in the evening, after it was deferred for three days from June 20. The DU registrar in a release said, after the announcement of first cut-off on June 23 evening, admissions for it would begin the next day. 
The second, third, fourth and fifth cut-offs will be announced on July 1st, 7th, 13th and 18th respectively. The timing for documents verification and approval for admissions will be between 9.30 am and 1.30 pm for morning colleges and 4 pm to 7 pm for evening colleges.

GovtTo Name Soon The 12 Big Loan Defaulters Listed By The RBI For Action

New Delhi:The Finance Ministry has said, names of the 12 big defaulters identified by the RBI for initiation of bankruptcy proceedings will soon be made public. Talking to a news channel on Wednesday, Finance Ministry's Principal Economic Advisor SanjeevSanyal said, these defaulters account for as much as 25 per cent of the bad assets.

Pak Breaches Ceasefire, Loses Two Soldiers In Retaliatory Fire From India

New Delhi:At least, two Pakistani soldiers were killed in effective retaliation by Indian soldiers as Pakistan Army on Wednesday violated ceasefire thrice along the Line of Control in two sectors in Rajouri and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir. 
The Pakistan Army resorted to shelling of mortar bombs and firing of small arms and automatic weapons on forward posts and civilians areas in the region. Defence sources said, Indian troops gave a strong retaliation in which 2 Pakistani soldiers were killed opposite the BhimbherGali sector.

Landslides hit Bangladesh; Kills Many Including 4 Army officials

New Delhi: At least 125 persons have died after heavy rain triggered landslides in three hill districts of southeastern Bangladesh. Four soldiers were among the victims whose bodies were recovered in rescue operations, said a spokesperson for the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief's control room in Dhaka on June 13 night.
