New Delhi:The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to take its compensation claim case against the BCCI to the disputes resolution committee of the International Cricket Council.
According to an official source in the PCB, the board chairman Shaharyar Khan, Chairman of the Executive Committee, NajamSethi and Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmad had held three separate meetings with the BCCI representatives last month in Birmingham and London.
New Delhi: Union Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhu has asserted that implementation of the goods and services tax (GST) will double the gross domestic product (GDP) in the next 8-9 years.
He said, "The GST aims at increasing the number of taxpayers. And, as the tax revenue rises, the GDP will also increase. Our GDP is $2.5trillion today and in the next 8-9 years, it will grow to $5 trillion if our tax revenues increase. In 15years, our GDP will become $15trillion."
New Delhi: A body of Muslim intellectuals has promised its full support to any proposal of the Centre for banning cow slaughter and declaring cow as the national animal. “Our organisation has passed a resolution welcoming Prime Minister NarendraModi’s recent statement condemning the lynching of innocent people in the name of 'gauraksha' (cow protection) in different parts of the country,” Director of Forum for Muslim Studies and Analysis (FMSA) Jasim Mohammad said.
