A Muslim Cattle Herdsman To Fast For ‘GauRaksha’

New Delhi:A Muslim man in Gujarat has announced to sit on a 48-hour fast from July 20 to “spread the message of cow protection and communal harmony”. 

Twenty-seven-year-old JabarJat, a cattle rearer from Ludbaay village of Nakhatranataluka in Kutch district, would launch the fast outside the collector’s office in Bhuj, over 300 kms from Ahmedabad.

Yogi to start CM’s helpline to provide succour to the people

New Delhi:With an objective to tone up the public grievance redressal system, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered the setting up of a “CM Helpline”.

It will connect people to a call centre manned by 500 people. The helpline will be directly supervised by the chief minister’s office, with Adityanath himself collecting feedback.

Modi’s Efforts At Easing Business Environment Appreciated By Hamburg Action Plan

New Delhi: The G20 has praised India`s initiatives for promoting ease of doing business, startup funding and labour reforms by acknowledging steps being taken by the county for sustainable and inclusive growth as well as support to global economy.

In its Hamburg Action Plan, adopted at the G20 Summit of leaders from the world's 20 largest economies, the group also noted that "in the financial sector, India is popularising a number of derivative instruments in exchanges or electronic trading platforms" as part of measures to enhance resilience of its economy.

India to beat China as fastest growing economy, says Harvard study

New Delhi:A Harvard University has placed India as the economic pole of global growth by surpassing China and is expected to maintain its lead over the coming decade.

According to the Harvard University's Center for International Development (CID) growth projections, India will feature on top of the list of the fastest growing economies till 2025 with an average annual growth of 7.7 per cent, for a variety of reasons.
