Lalu says he will not rest till FIRs lodged against Nitish, Sushil

New Delhi:  RJD chief Lalu Prasad has asserted he will not rest till FIRs are lodged against Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his deputy Sushil Kumar Modi in the alleged Srijan scam.

Intensifying his attack on the two leaders, he alleged that that the scam was in the knowledge of both of them.

"We will take the matter to the logical conclusion. We will not rest unless FIRs are lodged against Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi in the scam," Prasad said. He also asked why the two have not been booked already in the case.

Amit Shah claims BJP stopped politics of appeasement

New Delhi: BJP president Amit Shah has asserted that his party has stopped the politics of appeasement in the country and introduced politics of performance.

The Narendra Modi government has in the last three years shown the political will to take decisions unlike the previous Congress-led government which had suffered from policy paralysis, he said during an interaction with intellectuals on the second day of his three-day visit to Kolkata.

Shah said that in the last three years India has emerged as the fastest growing economy in the world and this was not an easy task.

Modi To Hold Road Show With His Japanese Counterpart

New Delhi: Creating history, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe would take part in a road show in Ahmedabad in Gujarat on September 13.

The eight-km-long road show would start from the Ahmedabad airport and culminate at the Sabarmati Ashram.

Abe will arrive here on Wednesday on a two-day India visit during which he and Modi will hold the 12th India-Japan annual summit here.

Kejriwal Not To Have Access To TV And News During His 10-day Vipassana Camp

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will attend a 10-day Vipassana meditation camp at Igatpuri in Maharashtra with no access to TV and news.

"The CM has left for Igatpuri. He will be attending a 10-day session of Vipassana," a government spokesperson said. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will take care of day-to-day government affairs in Kejriwals absence, he said.

In August last year too, Kejriwal had gone to Himachal Pradesh’s Dharamkot to attend a 10-day Vipassana session at a meditation centre. He is known to be an ardent practitioner of the meditation technique.
