BCCI Says Sreesanth Cannot Play For Any Other Country

New Delhi: BCCI acting president CK Khanna has made it clear that fast bowler S Sreesanth cannot play for any other country as per ICC rules.

 Sreesanth has hinted that he may play for another country following the Kerala High Court order to uphold his life time ban earlier in the day.

"Any player banned by his parent body cannot play for any other country, ICC rules very clear," Khanna said. 

"Rules, regulations and the legal position is quite clear," he added.

Philippines Nab IS Operative For Radicalizing Indian Youth

New Delhi: The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) of the Philippines has arrested Karen Aisha Hamidon — named in radicalization of Indian recruits. 

The prominent female online recruiter has been acting on behalf of the IS on several social media platforms.

Hamidon, widow of Philippines-based terrorist leader Mohammad Jafaar Maquid, gained international notoriety in 2016 when Indian agencies found that she used Facebook, Telegram channels and WhatsApp groups to recruit 'foreign fighters' from India and other countries.

Govt. Agency Warns Airport, Railway Wi-Fis Hotspots Of Cyber Attacks

New Delhi: A government agency Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-in) has warned that 
 browsing internet using public wireless computer network at railway stations and airports may leave people vulnerable to cyber attacks.

The nodal agency for responding to computer security incidents in India has rated the vulnerability quotient of public Wi-Fi in the country at 'high'. 

"Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities allows an attacker to obtain sensitive information such as credit card numbers, passwords, chat messages, emails etc," CERT-in said.

US Senate Clears Budget Blueprint Key To Trump Tax Effort

New Delhi: The US Senate has voted to approve a budget blueprint for the 2018 fiscal year that will pave the way for President Donald Trump's promise of massive tax cuts and reform without Democratic support. 

The Republican controlled Senate approved the budget measures on Thursday by a 51-to-49 vote, which would add up to 1.5 trillion dollars to the federal deficit over the next decade in order to pay for proposed tax cuts.

The Senate bill has to be reconciled with a markedly different version passed by the House of Representatives, also led by Republicans, before it can be sent to President Donald Trump for his signature.

20 IAF Aircraft To Land On Lucknow-Agra Expressway Next Week

New Delhi: In all 20 Indian Air Force aircraft will land on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway near Bangarmau in Unnao district on October 24 as part of a touchdown exercise.

"The IAF will be conducting the aircraft touchdown exercise on the Agra Expressway near Bangarmau in Unnao district," PRO, Defence (Central Command), Gargi Malik Sinha said.

The PRO further added that the aircraft will land and then take-off from the expressway and from Oct 20 there will be traffic blockade to prepare the highway stretch for the touchdown exercise.
