New Delhi: Pakistan's home ministry disclosed that it was "unaware" of the whereabouts of the first national flag that was presented by the country's first Prime Minister NawabzadaLiaquat Ali Khanat the first meeting of the Constituent Assembly.
The home ministry informed the National Assembly, in a written reply to a question raised by the lawmaker of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) KhalidaMansoor, that it was "not responsible for the protection of the first flag and was only responsible for rules regarding the flag".
Mansoor had asked about the whereabouts of the first flag of the country presented to the founder of the country Mohammad Ali Jinnah by Liaquat Ali Khan after its formal approval by the Constituent Assembly.
