New Delhi: With elections in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh coming closure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Chhattisgarh on Thursday and Madhya Pradesh later this month to inaugurate development projects and address a public meeting in the states.
The visits are expected to give a fillip to the BJP’s push to retain power in the two states, which go to the polls a few months ahead of the general election. Modi will on Thursday dedicate to the nation the modernised and expanded plant of the state-run steelmaker SAIL in Bhilai, officials familiar with the matter said.
