Asiya Andrabi And Her Two Aids Sent To Judicial Custody By A Srinagar Court

New Delhi: Dukhtaran-e-Milat chief Asiya Andrabi has been remanded to judicial custody by a court in Srinagar. The dreaded separatist’spress secretary and two other aides too were sent to judicial custody. They will be lodged in the Central jail at Srinagar.

The case on hand pertains to the FIR lodged by the Anantnag police against her on June 7. A spokesperson of the DeM said that Asiya's health is failing and she needs immediate medical check-up.

It may be recalled that the National Investigation Agency had also registered an FIR against Dukhtaran-e-Milat chief, Asiya Andrabi. The FIR alleges that she used various media platforms to spread hate through her speeches to endanger the integrity, security and sovereignty of India.

Juvenile Accused In Kathua Rape And Murder Case Found To Be Over The Age Of 20

New Delhi: Special public prosecutor JK Chopra said that an accused in the Kathua rape and murder case who claimed to be a juvenile is over the age of 20. A medical report submitted before the district and sessions court on Monday revealed this fact.

District and Sessions Judge Tajwinder Singh had issued directions to the crime branch to conduct a bone ossification test to ascertain the age of Parvesh Kumar alias 'Mannu', one of the eight accused in the brutal rape-and-murder case of an eight-year-old nomadic girl in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir in January.

A Former Minister Accuses PDP President Mehbooba Mufti Of Nepotism

New Delhi: Former minister in Jammu and Kashmir governmentand influential Shia leader Imran Ansari hit out at People’s Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti for his working style. He also accused her of nepotism.

"Mehbooba Mufti not only failed the PDP as a party but also dashed the dreams of her father late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed that he had envisaged," Imran said.

He accused Mehbooba of nepotism in the party as well as in the PDP-BJP coalition government she headed. "It had become a family show which was run by brothers, uncles and other relatives. The Peoples Democratic Party has become Family Democratic Party," he said in an apparent reference to induction of Tasaduq Mufti, a political newbie, as cabinet minister earlier this year and giving key position to Sartaj Madni, Mehbooba's uncle, in the party.

Yet Another BJP Workers’ Body Found, This Time From APond In Murshidabad

New Delhi: In yet another incidence of alleged political killing after two BJP workers were killed in Purlia, a body of the BJP worker was recovered from a pond in a village in Murshidabad district of West Bengal on Monday.

Taking to Twitter, the state BJP accused the ruling Trinamool Congress of killing Dhormo Hazra, whose body with his hands tied, was dumped into the pond. "Dhormo Hazra, Dalit (Chest thumping liberals, please take a note) killed by TMC goons in Murshidabad, West Bengal. Yes, his hands were tied and thrown into pond to die with unbearable pain, Why? He was a BJP worker. In West Bengal reason enough to killed by ruling party terrorist," the party posted on the micro-blogging site.

Rumour Spread On Social Media Claims Five Innocent Lives By Mob Lynching

New Delhi: Social media once again claim a few more lives as rumours about child-lifters gang caused attack on five people. It has claimed their lives as they were visiting a Dhule village in north Maharashtra despite police intervention.

Around 5,000 villagers from the tribal area of Rainpada in Dhuledistrict,were present at the scene on Sunday morning when a mob set upon the visitors on suspicion of them being child-lifters.

Rumours about child-lifters operating in the tribal districts of Dhule and nearby Nandurbar have been flying thick and fast in recent days, both on social media and through word of mouth.
