PM To Address Two Rallies Every Month In Rajasthan Where Elections Expected In November

New Delhi: Prime Minister NarendraModi will address two rallies every month in Rajasthan where elections are expected in November 2018. Besides Rajasthan three more states namely Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram too will have their Assembly elections around the same time but Rajasthan is very crucial for the BJP.

All these states are gripping into the election mode with chief ministers settling in their respective chariots. Rajasthan where the party was facing tough challenge from the Congress, the PM will start addressing rallies there soon. However, the PM had already addressed one at Amroodka Bagh (guava orchard) in Jaipur but he will have some more.

SC Cancels Interim Protection From Arrest to Two Priests Accused of Sexual Abuse

New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India (SCI) has cancelled interim protection from arrest given to two clergymen, accused of sexually abusing a married woman. The court has asked them to surrender by August 13. Actually four priests attached to the Malankara Syrian Orthodox Church have been accused of sexually abusing a 34-year-old married woman by using her confessional statement.

A bench of Justices A K Sikri and Ashok Bhushan said the two priests were at liberty to seek regular bail once they surrendered.The counsel for victim alleged that some videos were uploaded by the accused on the Internet and they used the same to blackmail her.

NIA Arrests A Lashkar-e-Tayiba Terrorist Habibur Rahaman Giving It AMajor Breakthrough

New Delhi: National Investigation Agency has arrested a Lashkar-e-Tayiba terrorist, Habibur Rahaman giving the agency a major breakthrough. Originally a resident of Kendrapara in Odisha, he was based in Riyadh.A non bailable warrant had been issued against him in 2017. He was picked up from the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, when he was returning from Riyadh.

Habibur Rahman was one of the handlers of Lashkar-e-Tayiba terrorist Shaikh Abdul Naeem alias Nomi who was initially arrested in 2007 while trying to infiltrate two Pakistani and one Kashmiri terrorist into India through Bangladesh. Shaikh Abdul Naeem later on escaped from custody while he was being taken for court attendance to Maharashtra from Kolkata in August, 2014.

VHP To Organize ‘Akhand Bharat Sankalp Diwas’ In Different Parts Of Country On August 14

New Delhi: To give an impetus to its dream of undivided India of the pre-Independence era, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will be organising ‘Akhand Bharat Sankalp Diwas’ in different parts of country on August 14.The occasion will be marked by the maiden visit of newly appointed international secretary general of the Parishad Milind Parande In Allahabad.

He is likely to announce VHP’s agenda for Kumbh Mela as well as its role in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls at a meeting to be held at Sangeet Samiti auditorium. According to VHP’s office bearer Ashwini Mishra, the programme will organised on August 14 — the day of Partition.

NCPCR Says, Private Schools Don't Follow Scheduled Curriculum Making Bag Heavier

New Delhi: National Commission for Protection of Child Right (NCPCR) under Union ministry for women and child development has suggested some measures to lighten the burden of school bags. The NCPCR has made these suggestions to the concerned authorities in the HRD ministry by saying that private schools don't follow scheduled curriculum and teach books from private publishers making the bag heavier.

In suggestions sent to Union Human Resource development ministry, NCPCR said that books must be distributed as per the monthly schedule. Amendment in the Right to Education Bill 2009 should be made to decide that the weight of the school bag must not be more than 10 per cent of the weight children.
