New Delhi: The government of India is looking at more than one options to bring back Mehul Choksi, co-accused in the Rs 13,600-crore Punjab National Bank loan fraud, from Antigua and Barbuda. However both are reasonably long-drawn judicial processes.
A team of Indian officials, led by additional secretary in the external affairs ministry Manpreet Vohra, recently held discussions with the authorities of the Caribbean nation, apprising them about the ‘severity’ of the charges against Choski.
