Kangana Ranaut and Diljit Dosanjh feud on Twitter over ongoing farmers protest

An acrimonious exchange of words have started between bollywood artists. In her reply to Dosanjh, Ranaut maintained her claim, and went on to call him producer Karan Johar's lackey. She added that she did not know who Kaur is.

The argument continued, with Dosanjh asking Ranaut whether she became a yes-man to everyone she worked with. If this was the case, he wrote, then she surely had a long list of masters to answer to. He noted that the protesters were from Punjab not Bollywood, and accused her of inciting tension by manipulating facts.

Dosanjh further called her out for disrespecting women, and insisting they were bribed to protest. He once again asked her not to twist anyone's words. Ranaut, in turn, insisted that it was Bilkis Bano who had taken to the streets once again in objection to the farmers bill.

Actor Kriti Sanon Says Pay Disparity in Bollywood is 'Frustrating'

Kriti Sanon has established herself as one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood, thanks to successful films like Bareilly Ki Barfi, Luka Chuppi and Housefull 4. However, it hasn't been an easy journey for Kriti, who entered the film industry without any godfather or a connection. Her Bollywood debut opposite Tiger Shroff in the 2014 action comedy Heropanti earned her positive reviews but it was her nuanced performance as a small-town tomboy Bitti in Bareilly Ki Barfi that won many hearts.

Kriti, who was recently appointed as the face of India’s biggest hip-hop festival Vivid Shuffle alongside Vijay Deverakonda, speaks candidly about pushing the envelope as an artiste, the conversation surrounding imbalance of power in the film industry, and taking on a challenging role in her upcoming movie 'Mimi'.

Actor Rajnikant to announce his entry in active politics soon

Superstar Rajinikanth is widely expected to put an end to the speculation surrounding his political plunge on Monday after his meeting with senior functionaries of the Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM).

"I met the district secretaries. They expressed their views, I shared mine. They assured me that they will be on my side with whatever decision I make. I will announce my decision as soon as possible," he said after the meeting that was held at a marriage hall owned by the actor in Kodambakkam.

Last month, the actor had hinted that his long-awaited entry to politics may be delayed. A letter purportedly written by Rajinikanth, in which he cited doctors' concern over his health, went viral on social media in October. While Rajinikanth dismissed the contents of the letter as fake, he added that its contents on his health, which puts him at increased risk from Covid-19, was accurate.

Urmila Matondkar to join Shiv Sena on Monday, a year after exiting Congress

Urmila Matondkar, Bollywood actor-turned-politician who contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections on a Congress ticket and resigned five months later, is all set to join the Shiv Sena. Urmila Matondkar will join Shiv Sena on Monday, over a year after leading the Congress party. No further details about her joining the Shiv Sena have been shared.

The development comes a year after Urmila Matondkar resigned from the primary membership of the Congress, citing petty politics as the reason. Urmila Matondkar had joined the Congress in March 2019 ahead of the Lok Sabha elections and exited it in September 2019.

In her statement, Urmila Matondkar said, "My political and social sensibilities refuse to allow vested interests in the party to use me as a means to fight petty in-house politics instead of working on a bigger goal in Mumbai Congress."
