Merry Christmas to only those who respect and accept all Indian festivals: Kangana Ranaut

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut took to Twitter to wish her followers a Merry Christmas. Ranaut tweeted, “Merry Christmas to only those who respect and accept all Indian festivals. Merry Christmas to only those who don’t do selective activism only around Hindu festivals.”

Kangana also shared photos of herself and her nephew as they posed in front of a Christmas tree.

In another tweet, she mentioned, “Yesterday my Bhabi came to my house for the first time and Rangoli made delicious gajar ka halwa for us, some pictures from last night dinner.”

Kangana Ranaut had recently shared a few photos as she prepared for her upcoming movie Dhaakad, a spy thriller. She posted pictures of herself getting measured for prosthetics required for the film.

Protesting farmer-filmmaker made "posterboy" for farm laws, sends legal notice to BJP

On Monday, the 36-year-old actor and filmmaker Harpreet Singh woke up to an unusual message from his friend, that he was the "face" of the "happy farmer", supporting the new farm policies of the BJP government on social media.

The posters had been published on the official social media pages of the BJP's Punjab state wing.

Featuring a laughing Harpreet, with a prosperous green field behind him, the poster stated that farmers were happy with the three farm laws, MSP procurement was up, and it was only some "misguided people" who were protesting against the laws.

Cabinet gives nod to merge 4 Govt Film Media Units with NFDC

The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the merger of four government film media units with the NFDC with an aim of converging activities and resources and better coordination to ensure synergy and efficiency in achieving the mandate of the bodies. An official statement said the Films Division, the Directorate of Film Festivals, the National Film Archives of India and the Children's Film Society, India will be merged with the National Film Development Corporation Limited by expanding the memorandum of articles of association of the NFDC, which will then carry out all the activities performed by the four organisations.

The Films Division, a subordinate office of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, was established in 1948, primarily to produce documentaries and news magazines for the publicity of government programmes and cinematic record of Indian history. The Children's Film Society, an autonomous organisation, was founded in 1955 under the Societies Act with the specific objective of providing children and young people value-based entertainment through the medium of films.

Singer Neha Kakkar sets aside rumour of pregnancy; releases new song with Rohanpreet

Neha Kakkar's new song Khyaal Rakhya Kar, for which she had posed in a baby bump a few days ago, is finally out. The photo from the song had sparked off pregnancy rumours, but it was actually taken from the song in which she is starring with her husband Rohanpreet Singh.

Khyaal Rakhya Kar is conceptualised and sung by Neha, written by Babbu, and music is given by Rajat Nagpal. The music video charts the love story of the lead couple from their childhood, up until their pregnancy, when tragedy strikes.

This one is a new version of Neha’s song Khyaal Rakhya Kar which starred former Bigg Boss contestants Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana.

Singer Jazzy B reaches Delhi Singhu border to extend his support to farmers protesting against agricultural laws

The farmers are protesting against the contentious agricultural laws for the last 27 days. They have been fighting to revoke the laws in the borders of Delhi and have been receiving support from various sections. Today, Punjabi singer Jazzy B arrived at the Delhi Singhu border to show his support towards the farmers, who have been constantly demanding the Central government to repeal the agricultural laws. The reports suggest that he reached the protest site directly from Canada to encourage the farmers and said, "These farmers' dharnas are having an impact abroad as well. We have also staged protests in Canada. All Punjabis are working consciously with enthusiasm."

The singer even sang a song 'Bagawat' in support of the farmers, which he had released recently which depicts the ongoing farmers' protest against the laws.
