Somy Ali apologises to Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt, calls herself ‘a pathetic actor’

Former actor Somy Ali has apologised to her co-stars, some of whom are Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Mithun Chakraborty, for not being very good at her job. Somy had a short career in Bollywood, but worked with some of the biggest male actors of the 90s, and made headlines for her relationship with Salman.

The actor added in the Peepingmoon interview, “I request all my directors and producers please forgive me. I had no interest in acting, I never went for dance rehearsals. Saroj ji used to be so mad at me all the time. I was so happy to work with her, she was amazing but I had no interest in acting. I never rehearsed my dialogues.”

Anth (1994), Krishan Avtaar (1993), Yaar Gaddar (1994), Teesra Kaun? (1994), Aao Pyaar Karen (1994), Andolan (1995), Mafia (1996) and Chupp (1997) were some of Somy Ali’s films. She was also in a relationship with Salman.

Chehre teaser: Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi present criminal side of all humans; Rhea Chakraborty still missing

Emraan Hashmi has shared the first teaser for his upcoming movie Chehre. The film, directed by Rumy Jafry, also stars Amitabh Bachchan.

In the teaser, one hears Annu Kapoor talking about the real nature of human beings and how there is no one on earth who has not committed a crime in their lives. Emraan talks about how the innocent one is just someone who hasn't been caught for doing wrong. Amitabh, however, rues how the judiciary in the country only gives rulings, never justice.

The film also stars Raghubir Yadav and Krystle D'Souza. Until last year, even actor Rhea Chakraborty was a part of the movie. She had even shared photos of her first look pictures from the sets. However, once the promotional material and posters started trickling in last month, Rhea was nowhere to be spotted. When asked about her absence from posters and other materials, the representatives of the film declined to comment to Hindustan Times's queries.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh hop on the ‘Buss It Challenge’

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took on the viral Buss It Challenge and gave their own adorable twist to it. Deepika shared the duo’s dance video on Instagram on Wednesday (March 10).

The power couple can be seen dancing their hearts out while grooving to Erica Banks' song ‘Buss It’. Deepika twerks in comfy nightwear while Ranveer joins her later on. The duo donned casual outfits and can be seen having the time of their lives. Captioning the video, Deepika wrote, “Werk it baby! @ranveersingh. #bussitchallenge.”

The Buss It challenge usually sees participants in two outfits- one in casual wear and then they change to glamorous outfits. After the beat drops, the video shows participants change from casual to glam outfits.

Alia Bhatt tests negative for Covid-19 while Ranbir Kapoor goes under home quarantine

After Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali tested positive for Covid-19, Alia Bhatt also took the test as she has been closely working with the two. A source has confirmed to media, “Alia takes the test nearly every day and today also she has tested negative but has still isolated herself. Ranbir Kapoor caught the virus on the sets of ‘Brahmastra’ and is recovering currently.”

While Alia and Ranbir share screen space in ‘Brahmastra’, the duo is also dating in real-life and often hangs out together. Alia has also been closely working with Bhansali on ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and the filmmaker has also reportedly tested positive for Covid-19 today. As a precautionary measure, Alia took the test and tested negative for Covid-19.

After days of teasing fans with the first look video, the makers of Saina dropped its trailer on Monday. And in the 2.3-minute Saina trailer, we are shown glimpses of everything Saina faced to emerge numero uno. The trailer has been cut in a way that the movie looks to depict the two pillars of strength for Saina - her mother and father. Manav Kaul plays her coach (on the lines of Pullela Gopichand).

Saina not just rides on the journey of the badminton player, but also touches upon gender relates taboos in our society.
