The first episode's promo of Koffee with Karan Season 8 has leaked online. It has the host Karan Johar and the guests Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh all dressed in black. The episode will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on Thursday, October 26. 

In the leaked promo that's floating on X (formerly Twitter), Karan is seen shunning all his signature colours for a good ol' black suit as he welcomes “Bollywood royalty” Deepika and Ranveer for the first time on the Koffee couch. As the two actors sit close to each other, twinning in black, Karan calls them “smoking hot." Ranveer responds hilariously, “Thanks tharki (desperate) uncle.”

Leo box office collection day 1: The film, helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, opened in theatres on Thursday. As per Sacnilk.com, Leo had the "biggest worldwide opening" for a Kollywood film. Leo stars Vijay in the lead role. The film marks a reunion between Vijay and Kanagaraj after the 2021 blockbuster Master.

According to Sacnilk.com, Leo earned ₹68 crore nett in India on its first day for all languages. In Tamil Nadu, the film is expected to gross ₹32.00 crore, in Kerala ₹12.50 crore, Karnataka ₹14.50 crore, AP-TG ₹17 crore and ROI ₹4 crore. The total India gross is expected to be ₹80 crore. While the overseas amount is likely to be ₹65 crore, the worldwide gross will be ₹145 crore.

It is December, 2027. The locals of Andaman and Nicobar Islands are gearing up for their much awaited new year festival, Swaraj Mahotsav, which is expected to bring 1000s of tourists to the island. While the permission to hold the festival has been granted by every department, Dr Soudamini Singh (Mona Singh) from the health department has still not granted the same due to symptoms of an illness in the island, which can pose a threat to the tourists. Admiral Zibran Qadri (Ashutosh Gowariker) and ACP Kamat (Amey Wagh) in a meeting with Dr Singh, prove how the illness is not really a threat and a few cases don't necessarily mean that she has to keep the entire new year fest on hold. Admiral, through his way with words, is able to convince Dr Singh to grant them the permission. Dr Singh, along with a new, credible recruit Ritu Gagra (Radhika Mehrotra), carries on with her investigations, only to realise how lethal the disease actually is. The episodes that follow, show how the epidemic turns the lives of those stranded on the island, upside down. Through the show, viewers are also made to understand the importance of the Orakas, a tribal community whose origin goes back to over 7000 years and who have developed an immunity against the disease.
