Actor R Madhavan reveals PM Modi showed concern for Nambi and wrong done to him

Actor R Madhavan on Monday shared a picture on social media from his recent meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Also present at the meeting was S. Narayan Nambi, scientist and aerospace engineer at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on whose life Madhavan's debut directorial feature, "Rocketary: The Nambi Effect", is based.

The picture shows them seated in a boardroom, observing social distancing.

"A few weeks ago, @NambiNOfficial and I had the honour of calling on PM @narendramodi. We spoke on the upcoming film #Rocketrythefilm and were touched and honored by PM's reaction to the clips and concern for Nambi ji & the wrong done to him. Thank you for the privilege sir," Madhavan wrote as caption.

The film is based on the life of scientist and aerospace engineer S. Nambi Narayanan. Apart from directing, Madhavan essays the protagonist Nambi Narayanan.

COVID-19 second wave in Bollywood with Akshay Kumar, Govinda to Alia Bhatt

Akshay Kumar is the latest celebrity to have been infected with COVID-19. The actor was busy shooting for his latest film Ram Setu when you contracted the virus. Akshay in a tweet on Sunday (April 4), shared the news.

Actress Alia Bhatt who was busy shooting for her film Gangubai Kathiawadi on April 1 shared on her Instagram story that she has tested positive for COVID-19. Earlier, Alia's boyfriend, actor Ranbir Kapoor too tested COVID positive. However, the actor has fully recovered now.

Dangal actress Fatima Sana Shaikh tested COVID positive on March 29. The actress later shared her experience of the virus through her Instagram. "COVID sucks! Lost smell and taste..and a horrible body ache".

Akshay Kumar posts then-and-now pic to wish Ajay Devgn on his birthday: 'You’ve been an amazing co-star'

Akshay Kumar wished his Sooryavanshi co-star Ajay Devgn on his 52nd birthday on Friday. He posted a then-and-now picture for the purpose.

Taking to Twitter, Akshay wrote: "From then to now, you’ve been an amazing co-star and part of my journey. Wishing you a very happy birthday @ajaydevgn. May you keep growing from strength to strength. Much love".

The first picture was from one of their older films. Both made debut in 1990s; while Ajay made his acting debut with Phool Aur Khante in 1991, Akshay began his career with Saugandh in the same year.

Salman Khan’s ex girlfriend Somy Ali reveals he cheated on her 20 years ago; Says ‘We have moved on’

Salman Khan has been actively working in the industry for over three decades now and in the time period, his relationships did create quite a lot of buzz in the media. One of his longest and most written-about relationships was with yesteryear actress Somy Ali who was working in Bollywood in the ’90s. Further on the topic she said, “Not a single thing from Salman, but I learned a lot of good things from his parents. The biggest thing I learned is that they never saw religion and treated every human being equally.” Somy also said that Salman Khan’s parent’s house was always open to everyone and a lot of love emerged from the place especially from Salma Khan (Salman Khan’s mother).

Hera Pheri is 21: Akshay Kumar on his favourite scene, Suniel Shetty said they slept on newspapers

Priyadarshan’s comedy caper Hera Pheri completes 21 years of its release today. The film, which released on March 31, 2000, is counted among the best Bollywood comedies. It is centred around three men — Baburao Ganpatrao Apte (Paresh Rawal), conman Raju (Akshay Kumar) and an unemployed do-gooder Shyam (Suniel Shetty). One wrong phone call changes their lives forever, and they get involved in the kidnapping of a young girl.

Recalling the good old days on the 21st anniversary of Hera Pheri’s release, Suniel Shetty wrote on Twitter, “No wonder we underestimate how quickly time flies. It seems I blinked, and 21 years went by. What a film we made @priyadarshandir @akshaykumar @SirPareshRawal @GulshanGroverGG #Tabu. Missing #OmPuri ji very dearly today…”
