In a sudden turn of events, actress Shilpa Shetty's businessman husband Raj Kundra was arrested by Mumbai Police on July 19 night for allegedly creating pornographic films and publishing them through mobile apps.

“There was a case registered with Crime Branch Mumbai in February 2021 about creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps. We’ve arrested Mr Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this. We have sufficient evidences regarding this. Investigation is in progress please," a statement of Mumbai Commission of Police read, according to a news agency.

The Kapil Sharma Show fans have a lot to cheer for as Kapil took to Instagram to confirm the return of his show soon. Sharing photos from what looks like the set of the revamped show, the comedian posed with Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, Kiku Sharda and Chandan Prabhakar. Archana Puran Singh is back as the judge of The Kapil Sharma Show.

A source told media that the team has shot for the promo of upcoming season of The Kapil Sharma show today at Aamby Valley. “The set is under construction and it will take sometime for the series to go on floor. As of now, they have filmed the promos, which will also see the team welcome Sudesh Lehri on board. The show will mostly go on air by end of next month.”

A petite frame, bright eyes and a voice that could give goose bumps made actor Surekha Sikri the favourite on-screen grandmother for many millennials and Gen-Zers. Her rendition of Dadisa in the TV show Balika Vadhu (2008-2016) and later as Amma in Badhaai Ho (2018), reminded many youngsters of their own matriarchs back home.

Sikri, who had a stellar career spanning more than five decades, died of cardiac arrest on Friday. She was 75. The three-time national award winner had been unwell for a couple of years. She suffered an aneurysm in 2018, which left her partially paralysed, and confined to bed for almost a year. Slowly and steadily, she had started working again.

Sikri hated being confined to bed. “I understand it’s necessary, but I miss the action, the noise, the bustle of a shoot. I thrive on it,” she had told a national daily in an earlier interview.

Actor Paresh Rawal has been entertaining the audience for over four decades now. From serious to comedic to a villain, the versatile actor has essayed many characters. The Bollywood industry has seen many star kids follow the footsteps of their parents to become actors and so is the case with Paresh Rawal’s son, Aditya Rawal. 

Aditya Rawal recently made his Bollywood debut with the film ‘Bamfaad’ which didn’t do very well at the box office. In fact, not many people were aware that Aditya is Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat’s son and it was only around the film’s release that people realised this. Recently, during an interview when asked why did he not launch his son, Rawal said that he doesn’t ‘have that kind of money’.

A few days after the sudden demise of her husband and former filmmaker Raj Kaushal, Mandira Bedi reminisced about the 25 years they had spent together with a heartbreaking post in the former's memory.

To mark her 23rd wedding anniversary, Mandira took to Instagram and posted a string of images, wherein she can be seen happily posing with her late husband.

"25 years of knowing each other. 23 years of marriage.. through all the struggle.. through every crest and trough.." she captioned the post.
