Heros cast their girlfriends in Bollywood, reveals Mallika Sherawat

Mallika Sherawat said she lost out on films because she never dated any actor or filmmaker. The actor, who is currently seen in web series Nakaab, also revealed why she was not a part of Welcome Back, which released in 2015.

Mallika played the character of Ishika in Welcome, who helps Akshay Kumar’s Rajiv to get Majnu (Anil Kapoor) and Uday (Nana Patekar) quit being gangsters and embrace goodness. She traps both the men in her game of love, as the two remain ignorant that they are dating the same woman.

Welcome released in 2007, while its sequel came out eight years later with some new cast members including Shruti Hassan, Ankita Shrivastav, Shiney Ahuja, Dimple Kapadia and others. Mallika wasn’t a part of it.

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan reach Austria for Tiger 3 shoot

The Tiger team including Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan, director Maneesh Sharma and others have now reached Austria for the last schedule of Tiger 3 shoot. After the team of Tiger 3 wraps up the shoot in Austria, the team will head back to India to complete the remaining film.

Kangana Ranaut bags Sita's role amid fee hike debate

Kangana Ranaut, whose film Thalaivii released recently, will now be seen playing Sita in Alaukik Desai’s The Incarnation Sita. The film is touted to be a period drama. Confirming the news, producer Saloni Sharma said in a statement, "As a woman, I couldn't be happier in welcoming Ms Kangana Ranaut onboard our VFX magnum opus, ‘The Incarnation Sita’. Kangana symbolizes the spirit and essence of the Indian woman - fearless, daunting and daring. It's time we stepped in to celebrate equality in every respect."
Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram to express her excitement. She wrote, “The Incarnation- Sita Glad to be on board for the title role with this immensely talented team of artists..With the blessings of Sita Ram …Jai SiyaRam.” 

The film will be written by KV Vijayendra Prasad. A few days ago, it was reported that Kangana had been approached by writer VIjayendra Prasad to play Sita in a film. The reports have turned out to be correct. The film will reportedly be shot in Lava-Kusa style, with the entire drama focusing on Sita’s figure from the Ramayana.

Actor Ram Charan buys India’s first Mercedes Maybach GLS600

Ram Charan on Monday became the owner of India's first Mercedes Maybach GLS600 customised edition, according to photos that have surfaced online. Twitter users have shared photos of Ram Charan buying the swanky car from the showroom. The four photos show him purchasing and driving the car later. Reportedly, the car costs Rs 4 Crore.

Interestingly, Ram Charan bought the car weeks after his RRR co-star Jr NTR bought India's first Lamborghini Urus Graphite Capsule. The two stars recently finished filming the upcoming historical fiction RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli. The film also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn.

RRR was earlier scheduled for October 13 release, but the makers on Sunday announced that they have put the release on pause until theatres around the globe resume functioning.

Adipurush: Saif Ali Khan says the makers will present ‘correct portrayal of religion, history and mythology’

Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor starrer horror-comedy Bhoot Police released on a major OTT platform on 10 September. Saif Ali Khan’s first outing in the genre however was Go Goa Gone. The film came out in 2013 and Saif played the role of a zombie hunter who claims to be from Russia but eventually turns out to be from Delhi. In a recent chat with a news agency, Saif spoke about Go Goa Gone 2 and said, “I don’t know about Go Goa Gone 2. I’ve got nothing to do with it anymore. I sold all the rights and moved on from that sort of thing.”

Saif Ali Khan also spoke about how makers of his upcoming mega venture Adipurush are leaving no stone turned for the ‘correct portrayal of religion, history, and mythology’. He said, “The film is very unique and different. I am not concerned about Adipurush at all because the director, the writer and the entire creative organisation are highly educated in the material they are doing. It is impossible to imagine them to put one foot wrong also as far as the correct portrayal of religion, history and mythology goes, they cannot make a mistake”.
