Actor Salman Khan has issued a reply through his lawyer in the civil suit that he filed against his neighbour for defaming him in an interview with a YouTube channel. The actor now submitted a reply in the court on Thursday asking Ketan Kakkad, the neighbour who owns a plot of land near Salman's Panvel farmhouse, to not drag his religion and family in the case.

As reported by agencies, the actor's lawyer Pradeep Gandhi read out a portion of Kakkad's posts and interviews in the court. He said the neighbour had accused the actor of 'burying film stars in his farmhouse,' having connections with the D gang, and had also commented on his religious identity, in a YouTube interview. The lawyer also read out Salman's reply to Ketan and said his allegations are a mere figment of his imagination, an attack on his family, and an attempt to malign his reputation.

After 18 years of togetherness, the duo decided to go separate ways as they want to 'take time to understand' themselves as individuals. Taking to social media, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa shared the news with fans and issued identical statements.

Posted by Dhanush on Twitter, the statement reads, "Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better".

Directed by TJ Gnanavel, Jai Bhim is a hard-hitting courtroom drama about the fight for the oppressed and caste-based discrimination. The film features Suriya in the role of real-life lawyer Chandru, who dedicated his life fighting for the oppressed without charging a single penny.

In a shocking state of affairs, southern superstar Dhanush and his wife and superstar Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwaryaa announced separation after 18 years of togetherness.

Both Dhanush and Aishwaryaa took to social media and shared a long note announcing their decision to their fans.
