The Kashmir Files team meets Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow

The Kashmir Files team, including director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, and the film's producer Abhishek Agarwal reached Lucknow on Sunday, March 20. The movie team met Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today.

Uttar Pradesh is among the list of states that has made 'The Kashmir Files' movie tax-free in the state.

Omar Abdullah hits out at filmmakers of Kashmir Files, says lies projected in the movie

Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah has hit out at the filmmakers of Kashmir Files and told lies have been projected in the movie. It wasn't the NC government in 1990 but a governor’s rule under VP Singh’s regime. 

Omar was addressing a rally today in South Kashmir's Kulgam district, where he spoke about the film. He also asked the director whether it was a documentary or a Bollywood film. 

''Many lies are projected in The Kashmir Files movie.  It wasn't the NC government in 1990 but a governor’s rule under VP Singh’s regime and the Governor was Jagmohan. BJP was ruling at the centre,'' said Omar Abdullah.

Kapil Sharma, Nandita Das call on Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik

Popular comedian and actor Kapil Sharma on Thursday met Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the latter's residence here, along with actress and director Nandita Das.

Following the interaction, the Chief Minister gifted each of them a silver filigree Konark wheel, a memento and jersey of the Indian hockey team.

The Kashmir Files Team Meets Amit Shah; Anupam Kher, Vivek Agnihotri Express Gratitude

The team of Kashmir Files met Union Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah in Delhi on Wednesday morning at his residence for breakfast, Anupam Kher revealed. The actor, who plays a pivotal role in the film based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits during the Kashmir insurgency in the 90s, took to Instagram and shared pictures from their meeting along with a note of gratitude for his work during the insurgency and for inviting the team over.

In the pictures, Vivek Agnihotri, Anupam Kher and Amit Shah were joined by Pallavi Joshi and the film's producer Abhishek Agarwal. “Thank you Hon.
