Veteran South Indian singer Sangeetha Sajith passes away at 46

Veteran South Indian singer Sangeetha Sajith has sadly passed away. She was 46-years old. According to reports, the noted singer passed away on May 22 in Thiruvananthapuram at her sister's residence. She was suffering from kidney related ailments, and was even undergoing treatment for the same.

Sangeetha's funeral will take place at the Shanthikavadam public crematorium in Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday evening.

Sangeetha Sajith has lent her voice in various genres of songs from Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. She had sung the theme song of Prithviraj-starrer Kuruthi recently.

'KGF' director Prashanth Neel announces his new film 'Bagheera'

After basking in the success of the 'KGF' franchise, the makers are now all set to come up with a new film titled 'Bagheera'.

On Friday, Hombale Films announced the commencement of the filming of its next Kannada action movie.

Written by 'KGF' director Prashanth Neel and directed by Dr Suri, 'Bagheera' stars Srii Murali of 'Ugram' fame in the lead.

'Bagheera' is slated to be released next year. 

The movie will be extensively shot in Karnataka and Hyderabad, with major shoots happening on the outskirts of the Bengaluru and Mysore region.

I was going to do another film at the same time and then that film also didn't happen, so it was my loss," she stated in an interview. Kannada actress dies after fat reduction operation

A 21-year-old budding television actress who underwent liposuction, a fat reduction procedure, died at a private facility here on Monday. The deceased, Chethana Raj, has acted in the Kannada serials “Geetha” and “Doresani”.

Chethana got herself admitted to Dr Shetty’s Cosmetic Centre in Rajajinagar on Monday morning. Around 6 pm, she reportedly developed complications. The hospital called up her parents who rushed her to another hospital with an ICU facility. Doctors at the second hospital found no pulse and declared her “brought dead” around 7 pm. Police have registered a case of unnatural death based on a complaint filed by Chethana’s father Varadaraju, a businessman. “The victim’s father has alleged medical negligence by the cosmetic centre. So we have registered a case under CrPC Section 174. Further action will be taken based on the medical and autopsy reports,” DCP (north) Vinayak Patil told TOI.
