Makers of the upcoming action-adventure `Ram Setu` on Sunday unveiled the teaser of the film.

Taking to Instagram, actor Akshay Kumar shared the teaser which he captioned, " Ram Setu ki pehli jhalak...just for you. Made this with a lot of love, hope you like it. Batana zaroor. #RamSetu. October 25th. Only in theatres worldwide."

Helmed by Abhishek Sharma, the film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Satya Dev in the lead roles.

The film is all set to hit the theatres on October 25, 2022.

As the release date is nearing, Ponniyin Selvan: I director Mani Ratnam and star cast Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi and Trisha are busy promoting their film. On Sunday, AR Rahman, who is also promoting the movie with the stars, shared a blockbuster picture from his Mumbai studio. In the image, AR Rahman can be seen posing with director Mani Ratnam and stars Aishwarya, Vikram, Karthi, Trisha and Jayam Ravi. In the background, we can see the smiling faces of AR Rahman's crew. Sharing the post, he wrote, "Unwinding with the Heavily loaded PS 1 team at my Mumbai studio". 

Soon after AR Rahman shared the post, his daughter Khatija Rahman commented, "Everyone seems to be ageing in reverse #mashaaAllaah," followed by a heart emoticon, while the fans dropped heart, fire and love-struck emoticons. 

Actors are often praised for their dedication and commitment to their craft. Actors like Aamir Khan, Christian Bale, and Randeep Hooda have surprised fans with their drastic transformations for their movies. 

For the uninitiated, Aamir Khan has undergone a major physical transformation for his film Ghajini (2008). The actor gained praise for his eight-pack abs. 

Aamir spent 13 months bulking his body up for the film, which eventually turned out to be a blockbuster. He achieved the same for his mega-blockbuster Dangal. For the movie, Aamir juggled between playing the role of a middle-aged father with a growing belly and that of a fit wrestler. 

Madhuri Dixit opened up about her upcoming film Maja Ma releasing on Prime Video on October 6. The trailer of the family entertainer was unveiled on Thursday. At the launch event, Madhuri touched upon how ‘90s heroines’ are doing much evolved roles in films compared with their male costars. 

Madhuri said that she loves doing roles that talk about women empowerment. Citing examples of her films like Raja, Mrityudand, Anjaam, the actor said that she has been inclined towards roles with an essence. She believes that OTT platforms have helped female actors to get good work even in their 40s.

Raju Srivastava, veteran comedian who was admitted at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has died at the age of 58. Raju Srivastava had a heart attack on August 10 and was hospitalized after he complained of chest pain while running on a treadmill at the gym. “I got a call from the family about half-an-hour ago saying he is no more. It is really unfortunate news. He was fighting in the hospital for over 40 days,” said his brother Dipoo Srivastava. Raju Srivastava was declared dead at 10.20 am, according to hospital sources.
