Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Tabu's Drishyam 2 is unstoppable at the box office! The film is having a glorious run at the theatres as it surpassed the Rs 150-crore mark in India in 12 days! On Day 13, it minted even better numbers. Meanwhile, the film had just taken seven days to cross the Rs 100-crore mark. Drishyam 2 is a total winner at the box office as it has been smashing several box office records at a time when many Bollywood biggies are struggling to mint money.

The film earned Rs 15.38 crore at the domestic box office on Day 1. Gradually, its collections kept rising drastically. Ever since Drishyam 2 hit the theatres, the film has been performing well at the box office. Due to positive word of mouth, audiences are thronging to the theatres to watch the film. At the end of 12 days, Drishyam 2 surpassed Rs 150 crore at the domestic box office, which is no small feat!

Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid who slammed Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files at IFFI, claimed that the film was pushed at the festival due to political pressure. He said that many Indian celebrities have reached out to him for standing up against the film as they couldn't.

Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid who criticised The Kashmir Files at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in a new interview said that he stands by his opinion at the event. Nadav was among the IFFI international jury. He asserted that he “knows how to recognise propaganda disguised as a movie.” 

At IFFI, Nadav Lapid called The Kashmir Files a ‘propaganda movie’ that had no place at the international film festival. His remark on the closing day drew criticism from people associated with the film, political and Indian public on social media. The Kashmir Files is directed by Vivek Agnihotri and narrates the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990.

Anupam Kher has labelled Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid as ‘vulgar and opportunist’ after the latter's comment on the actor's film The Kashmir Files. Nadav had termed the film as "propaganda and vulgar" Monday evening. He spoke at the closing ceremony of the 53rd International Film Festival of India in Goa. Anupam responded to the statement and said in a media interaction held on Tuesday, “I feel that in every country those who exercise freedom of speech, do have some set of people who think they will use a platform like this to address their private opinion."
